Michelle’s vision for Arabon began more than 40 years ago. Since then, the practice has continued to grow and its culture has continued to thrive. The thing that has remained the same since 1986 is the company’s care for its clients. Arabon is now a family of diverse team members and clients, many who have been welcomed to the practice via friends, family and neighbours.

Michelle McDowall

Director

Michelle McDowall brings more than 40 years of accounting, governance, and leadership experience to her role as Director of People and Culture at Arabon Accountants. Known for her commitment to developing people, Michelle mentors emerging professionals and dedicates her time outside of Arabon to community and not-for-profit organisations, including Rotary and the Binna Burra Foundation, while also serving as a state-level awards judge at Telstra Best of Business Awards. Her client focus is both on emerging business and succession planning for established businesses and clients.

Robert McDowall

Director

With almost two decades of experience, Director Robert McDowall brings deep expertise in governance, strategic planning, risk management, business structuring and tax planning for new and growing businesses. A Fellow of CPA Australia and GAICD graduate, he complements his professional practice by teaching economics and accounting.

Tanya Reedman

Practice Manager

With almost 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, Tanya Reedman is Arabon Accountants’ Practice Manager and Senior Accountant, specialising in governance, business structuring, and tax planning to help clients achieve long-term success. A CPA Australia member for over 15 years and a Griffith University Commerce graduate, Tanya is also a proud mum of two who actively volunteers in children’s community sport—and when she’s not supporting local teams, she’s cheering on Liverpool Football Club.

Tim Liu

Director

As a Director of Arabon Accountants, Tim oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice and leads our team of accountants, ensuring clients receive accurate, high-quality advice and support. With over 10 years of industry experience, a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Queensland, and CPA Australia membership, he combines technical expertise with practical business insight gained from running his own small business.

Business Administration

With nearly eight years’ experience in the industry and a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, I support clients in my role as a Business Administration Officer at Arabon Accountants. I specialise in ASIC secretarial services and bank reconciliations to ease bookkeeping demands, and enjoy the flexibility of working from home.

Kylie Goodhew

Bookkeeper

Kylie joined the team in 2020 and is one of our friendly and helpful team who will help keep your accounts up to date.

Stuart Reedman

Director

A Director at Arabon, Stuart brings over 15 years of experience and is a CPA Australia member with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland. He specialises in business structuring and tax planning, and leads the Arabon Group’s Gold Coast office with a practical, client-focused approach.

Wei-Yen (Wendy) Liang

Accountant

Wendy is a CPA Australia member with over 10 years of experience and holds a Master of Accounting and Finance. She specialises in business structuring and tax planning, and genuinely enjoys working alongside clients to support their growth and success.

Xiaohong (Shirley) Han

Accountant

Shirley is a qualified CPA, holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Queensland and a PhD in Physics. As an Accountant with over seven years of industry experience, she specialises in business structuring and tax planning.

As a bookkeeper with Arabon for many years I assist clients in maintaining their books and staying compliant. I pride myself on being reliable, approachable, and committed to delivering quality support every step of the way for both clients and colleagues alike.

With over six years at Arabon Accountants, Joanne is a Payroll Officer supporting clients with their payroll requirements. She works across payroll processing and compliance, with a focus on accuracy and clear communication.

As a valued member of the firm, Karen brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role. SMSF Accounting Manager

Andrew is an SMSF Accounting Manager specialising in fund administration and compliance. He provides technical expertise in superannuation and tax, supporting trustees and advisers in maintaining compliant, well administered SMSFs.

Kim Huang

Accountant

Kim is a CPA with nearly four years of experience in the accounting industry and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University. She works closely with clients, providing support and guidance on a range of tax and accounting matters.

Nina Nguyen
